Artist Guitars AT73 Review GSP #247

Definitely unique - have fun with it!

@Axed :I sent another one back and basically just used the body and neck. Apart what else do you really get for $1300 . It’s a nice guitar now as the techy added a crunch circuit toggle switch. So it’s unique. Purchased another 3 Artist Guitars that where ok. Their couriers are rubbish as they never keep delivery date which is a problem. Good companies go bad. I’ll never deal with them again cheers mate

There is no way the guitar I played required the work you undertook. I understand upgrading components and sets up are never a bad thing, I like doing that stuff too, although I wouldn’t say that was ’required’ for the AT73 I reviewed. I’m interested in why you spent $775 - if I’m reading your comment correctly - on a brand new $599 guitar with an easy returns policy. What was it about the AT73 that was worth you keeping it, rather than taking your $1,374 to shop around elsewhere? Cheers, Matt

Disagree with you 100% It cost me $400 for a setup, fret level and pot and cap replacement which where rubbish. Then the nut was wrongly cut. The ” hand made’ pickups yeah sure. $275 JJ’s pickups and fitting $100 plays nice now I sent another new model back . Won’t deal with Artist again. Then couriers rock up whenever. Can’t keep date Wo
